Ressl Dance!, known for it’s site-specific dances along Lake Superior, has moved to LA where the company will premiere work from it’s 20 year repertoire on Sept. 11 &12. Artistic Director Doris Ressl recreates her satisfyingly, rich dances Cradling the Earth, Fragrant Memory, Here I Am, Rose Allegro and more . . .

Dancers for this production come from throughout the LA area to include: Leanne Vecchione, Phoenix Cole, Michelle Funderburk, Dana Maue, Micki Selander, Jessie Parmelee, Sarah Garcia, Tazanna Neal, Camille Williams, Jeannette Nailor, Marco Carreon, and Sonia Bawa. San Francisco dancer David Wick and his wife, musician Jane Anfinson, will present a new contact improv work with Doris Ressl.

This eventful evening is sponsored in part by the CSUDH Sally Casanova Memorial RSCAAP Fellowship, CSUDH Emeritus Faculty Association Faculty Legacy Fund, CSUDH College of Arts and Humanities, and the Department of Theatre and Dance.
